TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background tells you something. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Now, the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
